Important INFORMATION for our tenants!

Due to the current situation in the energy sector and, in particular, on the gas market, the utility costs in our student residences may rise by 20-35% at the beginning of the 2022/23 winter semester.

To avoid very high subsequent payments, we will raise the utility cost allowance starting on 1 November 2022. We will let you know by the end of September 2022 exactly how high the allowance will be.

Please be aware that we expect that the energy and other utility costs will rise further and that we may have to raise the utility cost allowance again in 2023.

The utility cost allowance that you have paid will be offset against the actual utility costs at the end of the year, and you will then either receive a refund or will have to pay an additional amount.

All we can do in view of the high prices is save energy. Therefore, we are asking you to try and reduce your personal energy consumption and use energy (heating, hot water, electricity) sparingly.
