Our little guests eat for free!
We support student parents!
As part of our lunch offer, children accompanied by a student parent get a free "Kinderteller".
The offer is valid for children up to their seventh birthday, but at the latest until they start school.
Furthermore, the accompanying parent muss be enrolled at a university working with the Studierendenwerk Würzburg and buy a complete lunch* in the canteen. Parents are required to show the so-called "Mensa-Kinderausweis" (application below).
* a complete lunch = main meal (no side dish)
The "Mensa-Kinderausweis" can be issued here:
- canteen at Studentenhaus, Mensateria Hubland Nord and canteen at Hubland in Würzburg
- canteen Schweinfurt (Fritz-Drescher-Straße)
- canteen Aschaffenburg (Würzburger Straße)
- canteen Austraße and canteen Feldkirchenstraße in Bamberg
Applying for a Kid's Menu Card
To apply for a “Mensa Kinderausweis”, please fill out the application form and send the form and the other documents for approval by e-mail or post to the Social Counselling of the Studierendenwerk Würzburg.
To issue your child's "Mensa-Kinderausweis", please bring the following:
- Student ID card or certificate of enrollment
- Birth certificate of the child
- Completed and signed application form
