Childcare Services
Supported by the Studierendenwerk, "Krabbelmonster e.V." offers two nuseries for 24 children (age 1 - 3 years) in Bamberg.
One nursery for 12 children is located in the newly built premises of "Haus für Kinder und Kultur" near the train station (Kaimsgasse 23).
The second nursery (also 12 children) is housed in the student residence "Pestalozzistraße".
The children are supervised by educational professionals and parents. One parent must be a student at the University of Bamberg. When looking for a nursery, please consider the waiting list.
Opening hours (both nuseries):
Mon – Thu 7:45 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
Fri 7:45 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.
Student parents will be charged the following fees
(fees will vary according to category):

| Category 6 – 7 with | 35 hours per week | €195 |
