Childcare Services

Studentische Kinderkrippe Würzburg, an initiative of student parents, offers daycare primarily for the children of students. Toddlers between 10 months and kindergarten age are well taken care of while there parents attend university. Studentische Kinderkrippe Würzburg is financed and run by Studierendenwerk Würzburg.

Two buildings in the vicinity of Hubland Campus accommodate daycare facilities for three groups of a total of 36 children. One group (12 places) is accommodated in the housing unit Am Galgenberg 52, the two other groups (12 places each) are accommodated in the student residence Am Hubland 16. All rooms of the chilcare facilites are child-friendly and beautifully designed.

Children are served a healthy, nutritious lunch delivered by the Mensateria on Hubland Campus.

Experienced childcare workers provide quality care and education and place great emphasis on promoting parental involvement.

Parents are given the opportunity to spend a day at the childcare facility – watching and actively participating in their childrens routine there – to get an idea of how the children interact with each other and with the persons taking care of them.

Mon – Thu 7.15 a.m. – 5.00 p.m., Fri* 7.15 a.m. – 2.30 p.m.
* first Friday of the month until 1.00 p.m.

Student parents will be charged the following fees
